1. Executive Summary & Architecture

At Jeong Inc., we believe your personal affirmations, spiritual mindset, and subconscious identity rewiring belong exclusively to you. Chakratic Shift: Affirmations was engineered from the foundation up on a 100% on-device, local-first architecture.

Unlike conventional lifestyle and wellness applications that upload your diary entries, habits, and preferences to remote cloud databases for behavioral advertising or monetization, Chakratic Shift operates entirely on your iPhone or iPad. There are no remote user accounts, no passwords to create, and no backend profile servers recording your identity shift.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

In strict adherence to Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Chakratic Shift does NOT collect, transmit, or store on remote servers any of the following:

• No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your legal name, physical address, email address, or phone number.
• No Spiritual or Affirmation Reflections: Your bookmarked affirmations, verbal keys, custom affirmations, and journal thoughts remain in local device memory.
• No Biometric or Health Data: The application does not read or request access to Apple HealthKit, biometric sensor data, Face ID data, or heart rate monitors.
• No Audio or Camera Data: The app does not access your microphone or camera. All Solfeggio soundscapes are generated in real-time or played locally via AVFoundation.
• No Location Data: We do not request, access, track, or store GPS coordinates, cellular location, or IP location.
• No Cross-App Tracking Identifiers: We do not access the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or engage in device fingerprinting.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To enable offline daily use, streaks, and widgets, Chakratic Shift stores configuration settings locally on your device:

App Group Storage (group.com.chakraticshift.shared)

Chakratic Shift utilizes Apple’s official App Group capability to synchronize your active Identity Archetype and daily affirmation with the iOS Lock Screen & Home Screen Widget Extensions. This data resides solely in your device’s shared local sandbox container and is never transmitted over the internet.

4. iOS System Permissions Requested

Chakratic Shift asks only for permissions that directly serve user-demanded features:

A. Local Notifications (UNUserNotificationCenter)

Permission String: "Chakratic Shift delivers timed subconscious affirmations at your selected focus hours to anchor your target identity and habits."

All affirmations are scheduled on-device using iOS local scheduling. The app does not register with Apple Push Notification service (APNs) servers and does not send push tokens to external servers. You can adjust frequency (3–21 reminders per day) or disable notifications anytime in app settings or iOS system settings.

B. Photos Add Only (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription)

Permission String: "Save beautiful high-resolution affirmation cards and wallpapers directly to your Photos library."

This permission is strictly requested when you choose to export an affirmation story card or wallpaper. We use iOS Add Only permission, meaning the application cannot view, read, index, or upload your existing photo library.

5. In-App Purchases, Subscriptions & Apple StoreKit 2

Chakratic Shift offers an optional Chakratic Shift Pro upgrade via auto-renewable subscriptions (Annual with 3-Day Free Trial, Monthly) and a Lifetime one-time purchase.

• Apple Handled Transactions: All financial transactions, billing inquiries, and renewals are handled directly by Apple Media Services.
• Zero Payment Data Access: Jeong Inc. does not receive, view, or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or banking information.
• Receipt Verification: Subscriptions are verified on-device using Apple StoreKit 2 cryptographically signed transaction verification (Transaction.currentEntitlements).
• Subscription Management: You can manage, alter, or cancel auto-renewing subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID account settings on iOS (Settings > [Your Apple ID] > Subscriptions).

6. Third-Party Services & External Links

Chakratic Shift contains zero third-party software development kits (SDKs) for analytics, behavior tracking, advertising, or crash reporting. If you click on external links (such as visiting jeonginc.org or sending an email to our support team), your visit is governed by the respective external provider's privacy policy. Your use of Apple operating system features is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. GDPR & International Rights (EEA & UK)

For individuals residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, processing of data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679):

• Legal Basis: Processing local preferences is strictly necessary for the performance of our contract with you (delivering requested app functionality) and legitimate interests in running an offline, secure tool. System notifications and photo exports rely on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Cross-Border Transfers: None. Since no personal data leaves your physical device, no international cross-border transfers occur.
• Your Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, port, restrict, or erase your data. Because data is stored strictly in your local device sandbox, deleting the application completely and immediately fulfills your right to erasure.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know how their data is handled:

• No Sale or Sharing: Jeong Inc. has not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months, and will never sell or share your data for behavioral advertising.
• No Sensitive Personal Data Inference: We do not collect or infer characteristics from sensitive personal information.
• Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate in service quality, features, or pricing if you exercise any privacy rights.

9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Chakratic Shift is rated 4+ on the Apple App Store. The application does not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Because all application functionality executes locally on-device without user accounts, no child data is ever gathered or stored remotely. If you believe an underage child has contacted us with personal information, please reach out to [email protected] and we will delete the communication immediately.

10. Data Retention & Total Deletion

Your preferences and progress data persist on your device as long as the application remains installed.

How to Permanently Erase All Data:

1. Locate the Chakratic Shift app icon on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen.
2. Press and hold the icon until the contextual quick actions menu appears.
3. Select Remove App, then tap Delete App.
4. Confirm deletion. Apple iOS immediately purges all application sandboxes, including UserDefaults, cached files, and App Group storage.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements to Chakratic Shift or changes in legal regulations. When updates occur, the revised version will be published at https://jeonginc.org/chakratic-shift/privacy.html with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
